Although I didn’t spend more than 1 night in Guatemala City, I wanted to give you some great places to stay in this capital city. There are a wide range of guesthouses and hostels in Guatemala city so I figured I’d help you weed them out. It’s hard to time your arrival perfectly so you can avoid a stop over in Guatemala City so you may as well be armed with a few great options!
Guatemala City also offers a lot for travelers! Check out Alex from Alex in Wanderland’s post about how Guatemala City Doesn’t Suck. I’m a wimp, was alone, and didn’t know anything about the city so I got the eff out of there, but I am certainly not against giving it another chance someday.
