Hi there readers, or at least what’s left of you.
It’s been awhile, and I have a very good reason for that.
I’ve been working on a new and very exciting project. And I finally get to unveil it today with all of you!
As you know, I’ve been working on building this blog into a little hub and community for almost 4 years now. That’s a long time. It began in Cambodia when I dropped my life and took off on a one way ticket to see the world. It has transformed into an awesome collection of my stories, mishaps, knowledge and advice for traveling the world from my personal experiences.
Well, over this journey I’ve met some really incredible people along the way that have helped me to develop a life that I love and a life that allows me to travel freely!
One of those people is Stephanie Yoder from Twenty-SomethingTravel.com (or the site formerly known as Twenty-SomethingTravel.com).
She, unfortunately, as we all do eventually, aged out of the twenty-something life bracket and went in search of writers still relevant to her brand. We met two years ago at a blogging workshop in Milwaukee and I quickly became a writer for Twenty-SomethingTravel. Over the months and years, I’ve really drifted away from this site and really published my best writing over there. Yeah, sorry about that!
Anyways, she had a cute little bambino 6 months ago, and while she was away we began brainstorming new and interesting ideas for Twenty-SomethingTravel.
Ultimately, we found ourself on the idea of rebranding together. Enter WhyWaitToSeeTheWorld.com
That snazzy new site is going to have most of my content from here, all of the Twenty-SomethingTravel posts you’ve learned to love, and even some meaty articles from Art of Adventuring, her husband’s long neglected blog as well!
We are working to encourage millennials to get out and see the world however they can! It’s chock full of thousands of articles covering over 75 countries and a huge variety of ways to travel, ways to #eattheworld and just basically get out there! We want to inspire our readers to not wait, but to get out and see the world!
I hope you’ll join me over there, it’s going to be awesome, and with 2 very talented, smart, kickass women behind it, you know it’s going to be something you don’t want to miss.
I’m not entirely sure where this new path is going to take me, but with a renewed energy, and a dedication to make the Why Wait community one of the strongest millennial travel communities out there, it’s not going to be boring!
If you’d like to follow along on social instead, you can find me or why wait in these places:
